My name is Jess Estrada. I am the owner and sole operator of Estrada Woodworks. With almost 50 years of experience, I can provide unique and creative solutions to difficult carpentry and remodeling problems. I maintain a small woodworking shop that can provide custom cabinetry, built in furniture, and architectural woodwork. So if it’s the construction of uniquely designed cabinetry and furniture or the building of a special garden structure or the preservation of wooden windows, I can provide those and much much more. I can collaborate in the design with you, the homeowner or work with your architect, contractor, or designer. So whether you’re a homeowner or a trade professional and have need in any of these areas, I hope you will consider me. BACKGROUND
After serving my apprenticeship as a carpenter I ran a cabinet and plastic laminate shop for a little over 15 years, then spent a decade as a general contractor. From there I went to work for the National Park Service where I discovered my passion for historical preservation of buildings and their grounds as well as the updating of access to Public Spaces (making things ADA compliant) and finally now going back into business for myself.
